How our funding works
If you were the victim of an auto accident, American Accident Funding, LLC (AAF) will pay you now for your current or future claim against the at-fault driver’s insurance policy. The at-fault driver may have insurance in place to pay you for the following, just like they had a policy to pay for your vehicle repairs. Common claims include:
- Medical bills
- Lost earnings
- Vehicle repair
- Diminished Value to your vehicle
- Loss of use of your vehicle
- Medical devices or equipment
- Costs for household services one can no longer perform
- Transportation costs for doctor’s appointment or therapy
- Compensation for future economic losses, such as loss of earning capacity, future surgeries, or long-term care or medical treatment
They may also be responsible for:
- Physical pain
- Mental anguish (fear, humiliation, anger, depression, embarrassment)
- Disability
- Disfigurement
- Loss of enjoyment of life
- Inconvenience
- Loss of consortium (Compensation for the non-injured spouse for the loss of affection, sexual intimacy, support, comfort and companionship.
AAF will pay you now for your current or future claim and in certain instances, collect payment from the at-fault driver’s insurance company, or wait until you collect. Upon receipt of funds from AAF, you will assign a share of your future receivable from any insurance policies the at-fault party may have. If the insurance company does not settle or pay your claim, then you are NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY US BACK. That is our risk in this transaction. So, in other words, we advance you money against your current claims with the at-fault driver’s insurance company. If the insurance company pays, we are paid back. If the insurance company does not pay, you owe nothing. You have no risk, and you can have your cash advance of $1000-$100,000 in 24 hours from approval.
